As you play my games, I hope you are inspired to go create your own art, just as other indie creators have inspired me.
My first ever video game was Super Mario World on the SNES when I was just 2. I then grew up with the GameCube and its endless great titles like Sonic Heroes, Pokemon Colosseum, WarioWare Inc, and Super Monkey Ball 2. Despite having an interest in creating games myself, I was discouraged from doing so with those around me talking about how hard it is. But, after playing WarioWare DIY on the DS, I knew it couldn't really be as impossible as they said. After learning about the indie games community, all the great games I discovered, like Bloo Kid, VVVVVV, Circle Rider, and countless others (and more importantly, the ideas of DIY ethics and creative freedom behind them) inspired me to learn to make full games. So I began using GameMaker, and made my first game, a Pac-Man racing fangame. I eventually switched to GameSalad in order to create games for mobile. In GameSalad, I made my first original title, Super Dot Jump. Nowadays, I don't get nearly as much time to work on games anymore due to time constraints, but it's something I always still do my best to make time for. Currently, I am working on a yet to be titled, fully hand-drawn platformer with the Godot Engine. When I'm not making games or working, I enjoy listening to and writing music, learning new things about art and/or technology, and watching late night TV, my Indy Fuel, and my Indy Eleven.
